So I've been a bit busy, so here's the cheat sheet version of my life lately, simply for my sanity...
+ I FINALLY got an appointment with the navicular specialist in North Carolina! Hallelujah. It's for March 16th.
+ I received my assignment, one that I must pass to be accepted into the competitive Graphic Design program here at Georgia Southern. Portfolio Review [all my former graphic design projects redone to be more successful] + Solo Project [redesign Facebook... yes, that's what I said.] I'll spare you the details, but bottom line? A LOT has just been added to my already full plate. Lord, help me.
+ My foot is still in what seems like constant pain. BUT I am competing this weekend! And I'm running the 1500, a little less than a mile... I haven't run it since I was maybe in 8th grade, so please pray for me! I race around 4 o'clock on Saturday, my first collegiate Outdoor track meet!
+ My dad passed the tests to become a licensed CPA! After about TWO YEARS of studying and being so overwhelmed, I'm so ecstatic he's finally passed! :)
+ My bible study group is studying Nehemiah this semester and it is really great. If any of you have never even heard of the book of Nehemiah or never really read it, I recommend it. It's very encouraging :) We're going through Kelly Minter's study of the book. That group of girls is such a lifeline given by God to me.
That's all I can think of at the current moment... I'm supposed to be writing a paper about Audrey Assad for my english class.
I have a lot of friends who are CPAs! It's a great profession. Congrats to your dad. And congrats to you on graphic design. That is such a useful major these days. So many places need design majors for websites, newsletters, etc. Not sure what you're interested in but I do a lot of graphic design at work and I work in a hospital!
ReplyDeletesounds like everything is falling into place, Chelsea. Hard work and passion pay off, good luck with your portfolio!
